Oct 14th update

Yesterday we went to the Civil Affairs office to complete the adoption paperwork for my son!!! He is officially ours! It was really crazy because there were so many families that it took longer and the little ones got tired and hungry. Brennan got irritable because he was overwhelmed so we walked the halls. He is a thumb sucker when he sleeps and is a lover when he is awake. After the Civil Affairs office we came back to the hotel, changed, took a cab to WalMart (like none you have ever seen), got what we needed, ate at KFC (we got so many neck braking looks from others), then took a cab back to the hotel. On the way back he fell asleep on my lap so we went upstairs to the room and we all napped with him and just woke up. The longest 15 hour nap I have ever taken!!! Today we drive to the clinic to take his visa photo, get his Medical check done, and draw blood for testing and this afternoon we drive to the police station to apply for his Chinese passport!!! Going to skype at home with my kids in an hour. He already copies their names when we point at their pictures in the picture books we brought him. He loves those books and looks at them all of the time. Advise for other families, bring picture books of everyone at home... I love this little piece of perfection I can call my son!!! He loves baths, has spirit, has character, has an amazing and contagious giggle, loves kisses, and is all mine!!!!!
